What is Monolith Endurance Mix?
Monolith Endurance Mix is a scientifically formulated blend of carbohydrates and electrolytes designed to provide sustained energy during endurance activities. It is a popular choice among athletes looking for a convenient way to fuel their workouts and races without breaking the bank.
What You'll Need:
- Water
- Small pot
- Reusable soft flasks (available on Amazon or at local running shops)
- 10 minutes
Measurement Calculator:
Our mix contains 50g of carbohydrates per scoop. Use the calculator below to determine the measurements for your needs.
Recipe:
1. Add your desired amount of water to a pot on low-medium heat on your stovetop.
2. Once the water is warm, gradually stir in Monolith Endurance Mix until it is fully dissolved in the water.
3. Continue to simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a watery consistency. See the video below for what that looks like. No need for it to boil.
4. Remove from heat and allow the mixture cool slightly.
5. Carefully pour the gel into individual gel flasks or containers for easy transport during your workout. Using a cup to hold your soft flasks makes transfer much easier! Pro-tip: Use a stove-top kettle to make the gels and then use the built-in spout to pour directly into the flasks.
6. Allow your gels to cool overnight in the refrigerator, then toss the flasks into your pockets the next day for dialed in nutrition.
Notes:
- Be sure to continue drinking enough water! We recommend 300-500ml of water per scoop of Endurance Mix.
- It can be beneficial to prep an entire week's gels at once into one large container to save time.
Next time you're gearing up for a long run or intense workout, consider making your own sport gels with Monolith Endurance Mix. With a little prep, you can create a personalized energy boost to help you reach your fitness goals.
